Just a quick note; our Lumeneye subsea lasers have now been updated (as we do every year). Our laser power levels are now up to a whopping 160mW whilst keeping everything nice and petite and we have standardised at 6000m depth rating.

If anyone is looking for a good quality subsea line laser (and ours have been in use by pretty almost everyone now) then please visit the web-page at;

http://www.savante.co.uk/subsea-laser-modules/lumeneye-underwater-subsea-rov-laser-module/

You can download a specifications sheet from there under the corresponding tab.

We've got a 10 year track record now and you can also look at how people outwith the oil and gas industry are using them too ! We sell them and rent them out directly too.

ROV System Auditing & Assurance Course

This course is not comparable to a pilots course.

Companies continually try and compare diving and ROV, diving has specific legalqualifications, training and regulations.

Rovs do not. Any company can make up a course and sell it.

Secrets of successfull business in ROV

$

How to achieve success in the ROV business?
On the one side, we have example of Hallin Marine, which dive to bottom and close down recently.
On the other side I inspired by Aleron Subsea, which dare to secure million contract on downturn market.
What to do and what not to do? Where is the secret button in the business console?
I plan to start my own company with one AC-ROV.
Any opinions welcome.

New reviews for Deep Trekker on Geo-matching

Dear all,

The Deep Trekker is the best reviewed ROVn Geo-matching. Read some of the reviews here:

"Ovverall, the Deep Trekker DTG2 is a well thought out and executed micro ROV based on a very clever design. Construction is top notch and rugged. Although it includes a one year warranty, I see no reason why, if properly operated and maintained, you wouldn't get many years of service for your investment. Operating the DTG2 initially can be challenging, but eventually will become second nature. A few minor improvements would make this transition even faster and easier. For the price, you'd be hard pressed to find a better value hide"

the CAA now require vantage card to be updated with your shoulder measurments for Helicopter flights in North sea , in case u dont fit through emergency exits , cost is £35 but where can one get the measurment done in south of UK????? other wise travel costs will be huge .

worrying for fatties and rugger buggers and workout freaks as they may not be able to fly if bigger then 22'' accross shoulders ????

Its not that they won't be able to fly, but they will have to sit in a designated seat by a large emergency exit, and there will only be a small number of them on each aircraft.
