rov trainee help

Hi all, i am a budding rov pilot wannabe, i have been wanting to post and ask for some help and advice from you seasoned pros for some time,(many many months) but didnt want to till i had read pretty much every topic on every discussion on here as there is a wealth of knowledge and experience here and very high chance that its all been covered many times before! i have found out a lot of info from just reading on this site (knowledge is power)!! but there is just a couple of things i would appreciate if anyone could be kind enough to help with in the way of advice please??
