lolllllllll

The best of us are gassy.

I remember working with this one guy who had crones disease and vacated the control room, on demand, when it got too crowded.

Sent this poor Norwegian tooling tech out gagging. I still laugh about it.

People often forget what it takes to work offshore ROVs and that a team that can have a laugh is usually a good one.

And yes, after a while, it goes down to fart jokes.

Agency Requirements !

I fully understand its peak season and very busy however I see no reason why agency's seem to be getting away with more and more Multiple Vacancies? on single Topics .

In the Guidelines for agency's it clearly states :-

Multiple Vacancies?
Please compile them into one post where possible.
It is not good forum etiquette to blast the forum with multiple posts from one member

Should agency's wish to flood the media there are many ways of doing it on social media.

Comments from other forum members are welcome .

Hi James

You don't have to change any thing your end its a case of educating the agency's , I fully understand you and Ray have a full time job and its all most impossible to in-force ,At the end of the day its down to what you will accept and wont , You can only ask them a few times if they still keep putting Multiple Vacancies into single Topics that only leaves you one way and that's to delete the mail .

But I don't understand most of the agency's have a page on face book and many of the other social media sites . Your right some of the traffic seems to have moved away . So I think it wait and see . But if the topic is not locked there is no reason to start a new Topic .

You should look at this another way ................... When they [banned word] up , They get a bad name and get blacklisted .......... It also makes you look better when they do [banned word]-up Very Happy
Also put the agency's name on here or Facebook forum so that we know which agencies to steer clear of ...... Then the Agency gets a bad reputation for crap inexperienced so called pilot / technicians and then they lose work or go somewhere else to try and earn a quick buck ! ......... Simples Very Happy

YOU my friend are the clown. IF you are a Superintendent with this level of Numptiness then there is no hope for the future of this industry. Mad

Calling the OP a clown doesn't exactly help the discussion does it?

No matter what the OP's reasons for accepting the day rate, or your thoughts on them as a person, the discussion should be allowed to continue at adult level. Slagging people off achieves nothing and will likely deter people from posting in future.

Sorry K2 you seem to have got the wrong end of the stick yes I do have long lists of agency's but I have no idea which ones are Duff !

However its not you or me that has to deal with the Flak from the agency's once there names are on a list .

However we seem to be getting off topic , But as I have said many times if the company is a known company there is no reason why you cannot work direct . I do fully understand there is the odd one like working for COOEC when you need to provide your own insurance but most you can work direct .

As far as rates go in the middle east it was only a few years ago when Neptune was paying there supervisors $1000 , These days I think its Subtech .
